In summer, Les Gets offers a wide range of local activities including walking, mountain biking, parapenting, whitewater rafting, devalkarting, swimming and many more.

The crystal clear swimming lake with its shallow shingle beaches and life guard watch is just a 10 minute walk away from Chalet du Coin and for €2.50 per day provides a picturesque and safe place to spend a lazy day in the sun. Refreshements and toilet facilities are on site.

For those who want more exitement, in the woods close by is the Adventure Park with aerial slides, cargo nets, rope walkways and a bungee jump, all this plus safety equipment incuded in the price of around €30/day adults and slightly less for children.

On the other side of the lake, Le Poney Club du Lac offers a more sedate way of spending the day.

Les Gets is a renowned VTT (mountain biking) resort. Choose from the hair raising downhill runs or picturesque marked mountain trails. The VTT World Championships were held in Les Gets in September 2004, putting the village on the world VTT map.

Les Gets has its own 18 hole golf course in a fabulous setting facing Mont Blanc with very reasonable green fees by the day or week. Of course, their are several 19th holes to choose from!

The bottom of Les Chavannes in the centre of town offers "devalkarts", (downhill gokarts!) trottinherbe (downhill scooters!), trampolining, and mini bungee.

 

Dont forget that Les Gets has endless mountain walks featuring spectacular mountainous views and pretty alpine woodlands and meadows.
