Catered Accommodation Booking Conditions

1. Rooms within the property known as "Chalet du Coin" are offered for accommodation subject to confirmation by lesgetschalets to the renter ("the client").

2. To reserve rooms in "Chalet du Coin" the client should complete and sign the booking form and return it together with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit (25% of the total due). Following receipt of the booking form and deposit lesgetschalets will send a confirmation statement. (This is the formal acceptance of the booking). Chalet du Coin and its facilities will only be available to persons named on the booking form. Sub-letting, sharing or assignment is prohibited. Following acceptance of your booking lesgetschalets may accept changes to the named party members but reserve the right to refuse to do so.

3. The balance of the payment is due not less than eight weeks before the start of the accommodation period. If payment is not received by the due date, lesgetschalets reserve the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is immediately cancelled and the deposit is forfeit. In this event clause 4 of these booking conditions will apply. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

4. Subject to clauses 2 and 3 above, in the event of a cancellation by the Client, refunds of deposits paid in advance will be made only if lesgetschalets are able to re-let the rooms. If the client cancels the booking after having paid in full, the following refunds as percentages of the total sum less the deposit will be made: up to 6 weeks before the holiday start date - 75% refund, 4-6 weeks before the holiday start date - 50% refund, 2-4 weeks before the holiday start date - 25% refund. (It is strongly recommended that the clients' insurance includes cancellation cover)

5. The cost of any additional services will be paid in euros by the client to lesgetschalets before departure.

6. The rooms booked and the chalet living areas will be available from 4.00 pm on the first day until 10.00 am on the last day. Lesgetschalets shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. If the client does not vacate his room each day by 10am lesgetschalets cannot guarantee that the room will be cleaned on that day. Rooms and living areas will not be cleaned on the staff day off. The client will be advised of the door entry code which he undertakes to keep secret.

7. The Client agrees to be a considerate resident and to take good care of the 'Property'. The client will be liable for any damage caused by themselves or their party. Any such costs will be invoiced and must be paid before departure. Outside shoes and outside recreation equipment must not be brought into the main chalet. Bikes/sledges/snowboards etc. must not be ridden in the garden. Smoking inside the chalet is strictly forbidden. The Client is not permitted to use or enter the kitchen facilities or to prepare or consume food within the Chalet or garden which has not been supplied by lesgetschalets. The chalet is not suitable for use as a creche and "nannies" employed by clients are not permitted to supervise children inside the chalet (evening babysitting is permitted). The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause any disturbance to those resident in Chalet du Coin and neighbouring properties.

8. The client shall report to lesgetschalets any defects in the 'Property' or breakdown in equipment or appliances in the 'Property' or garden, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible.

9. Lesgetschalets shall not be liable to the Client for:
Any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the 'Property', nor in respect of any equipment or appliance in the 'Property' or garden.
For any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of lesgetschalets.
For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the 'Property' shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the accommodation period and in any such event, lesgetschalets shall, within seven days of notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.

10. Under no circumstances shall lesgetschalets' liability to the client exceed the amount paid to lesgetschalets for the accommodation period.

11. Lesgetschalets retain right of access at all times to all rooms.

12. Brochure and web site information is correct, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of publication. Changes may occur which are not included in the latest publication however lesgetschalets will advise the client of any changes reasonably deemed to be significant.

13. It is a condition of booking with lesgetschalets that all persons staying with lesgetschalets have adequate insurance cover for their holiday, their possessions and possible consequences of the activities they undertake.

14. Lesgetschalets retain sole right of access and use of the small enclosed fenced area at the rear of the chalet. The remainder of the garden is for the shared use of the Client(s). In summer only, an area of the garage (approx 2.4m x 4m) is available for storage of Clients' sports equipment. The remainder of the garage is for lesgetschalets' exclusive use.

15. Any breach of clauses 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, or 11 by the client shall entitle lesgetschalets to terminate the agreement without notice or refund.
