Winter 2011/12 Prices & Services

Chalet du Coin

The chalet is available on a catered or self catered basis. See below for details and prices.

Catered Chalet Basis - Chambres Table d'Hote (Half Board)

As is normal in a catered chalet run as a "chambres table d'hote" you will be eating with us at our dining table. Normally we only let the chalet on a whole chalet basis for a minimum of 7 nights. We may consider short breaks on a per head basis for late bookings. As your hosts we will of course be able to help you to arrange activities locally and impart our local knowledge of the area. If you wish to explore further afield, transport can be easily arranged.

Catered Chalet Prices:

Our catered prices include meals as detailed below for up to 10 adults and 4 children. The price gives sole occupancy of the chalet and is not normally reduced for smaller groups. If parties booking the chalet wish to eat with their children at dinner we can modify the dinner menu to reflect this.

Catering:

Cooked breakfast and afternoon tea is provided 7 days per week and dinner 6 days per week, giving you a chance to try out the excellent local restaurants. We offer complimentary beer and mixers, so feel free to bring your duty free spirits! If required we provide kids early tea between 5.30 and 6.30 on 6 evenings for all children of 3-12 years.

Breakfast includes:

Unlimited tea coffee or chocolate, porridge, fresh french bread, jams, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, 2 eggs cooked as you wish, bacon, tomato, sausage, beans, mushrooms.

Sorry, in winter pets are not allowed - we are fanatical dog lovers, but it just doesn't work!

Self Catered Basis

Chalet du Coin is run on a largely "self "catered basis with some additional services included in the price and extra optional services available to help add to the enjoyment of your holiday: The shops in Les Gets close at 7.30pm and the restaurants generally wont take a booking after 9.30pm and so these included and additional services are initially designed to ease the frustrations of arrival day and the following morning which would be miserable with no food or a decent cup of tea and for the rest of the week no one in your group needs to do the early morning bakery run........ See below for what is included, what isn't included and what you can order and pay for separately.

We will be at the chalet to greet you on your arrival. As we live in Les Gets we are available on a daily basis to help you to arrange activities locally and impart our local knowledge of the area and we are happy to to help with any information or assistance that you might need.

What is included in the self catered prices:

For a detailed list refer to booking forms & conditions.

Washing up tidying or rubbish disposal are NOT included in the end of stay clean.

Additional services that can be added to self catered bookings:

If you wish to explore further afield, transport can be easily arranged through a local, fully licenced transfer company.

What is not included in any prices:

Airport transfers, air fares, insurance, lift passes, ski lessons or ski equipment hire.

Smoking is forbidden inside the chalet. When on a catered holiday, the kitchen is not available for use by clients (or nannies) at any time (even staff day off) and we do not allow you to bring take away meals back to the chalet. Outside or hard soled shoes are not allowed to be worn inside the chalet beyond the entrance lobby. A heated shoe cupboard is available and we suggest that you bring a pair of slippers.
