Chambre/Table d'Hote (B&B or Half Board)

As is normal in a "chambre/table d'hote" you will be eating with us at our dining table and may also be sharing your dining table and lounge area with other guests. The heated plunge pool is available for all guests to use during their stay with no extra charge. Part of the fun of this type of accommodation is the opportunity to meet new people in civilised homely surroundings. As your hosts we will of course be able to help you to arrange activities locally and impart our local knowledge of the area. If you wish to explore further afield, transport can be provided or easily arranged.

We, the owners, live in the chalet and will clean daily. Clean towels are provided at the start of your stay and are changed midweek. Linen is changed weekly.

Please note that the kitchen is not available for use by clients at any time and we do not allow you to consume take away meals or shop bought drinks on the chalet premises.

If you book and pay for evening meals in advance, a 5% discount will be given on meal prices. ( Pre booked, prepaid meals cannot be cancelled less than 2 weeks before your visit. The days the meals are taken on may be varied given 24 hours notice)

It is not necessary to book evening meals for every day, we are happy to mix and match B&B and half board so long as we are given 24 hours notice of your requirements.

If you book all 4 rooms we are happy to discuss your precise catering needs and can vary the level and price of cuisine we provide for you. You may for example prefer a simpler "supper" style evening meal in place of three course dinners.

We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard for all payments without surcharges except for equipment hire and lift passes where a 1% charge will apply for card payments.

Full English Breakfast includes:

Unlimited tea coffee or chocolate, fresh french bread, jams, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, porridge, 2 eggs cooked as you wish, bacon, tomato, mushrooms.

Continental Breakfast with Eggs includes:

Unlimited tea coffee or chocolate, fresh french bread, jams, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, porridge, and 2 eggs cooked as you wish.

Dinner Includes:

Starter, main course, dessert or cheese, unlimited wine of Vin de Pays quality (red, white or rose) or beer/soft drinks, plus coffee. Each evening, the meal will be a different fixed menu (weekly cycle). Any particular requirements/likes/dislikes/allergies etc. must be advised before arrival to allow purchase of appropriate fresh ingredients.

Typical Starters: Homemade gravalax with cucumber and creme fraiche dressing, Traditional cocktail, chicken tikka with poppadoms and pickles.

Typical Main Courses: Lemon and basil roasted chicken with mixed leaf salad and steamed baby potatoes, Diots (local sausage) in white wine with caramelised onions, glazed carrots and mashed potatoes. Moroccan fish tagine with couscous and roasted coriander cauliflower. Or even a BBQ in the garden!

Typical Desserts: Creme brulee; apple tart; cheeseboard; selection of icecreams and sorbets

NB Actual menus may vary. Vegetarian options are available upon request - please advise any special requirements when you book.

Childrens Dinner: A more simple 2 course meal such as chicken, chips & beans followed by ice cream, plus a soft drink will be available.

Pets:

Pets may be accepted under certain circumstances subject to prior agreement. Please contact us to discuss if you wish to bring a pet(s).

Self Catering:

Chalet du Coin is not normally let for self catering. If you are seeking self catered accommodation please contact us.

Airport Transfers/In Resort Transport

We run a fully licensed and insured airconditioned minibus and are able to offer transfers to and from Geneva airport in the summer season for the following prices in euros:
